They have an indoor pool with water slide as well as an outdoor one, and two jacuzzi tubs indoors, which we took advantage of after a day out in the cold. There are outdoor games, like miniature golf, bean-bag toss, and little animals on springs because of the cold weather, we couldn’t take advantage of any of them. A special shout-out to all the staff, especially Gena and Mary Jo at the front desk everyone was SO friendly and accommodating, from reservations to hosting us in the breakfast room to answering questions to checkout they definitely are dedicated to hospitality! The Lake House is a family-friendly hotel all the rooms are the same, with either a king bed or two queens, and have the option to adjoin with a neighboring room. My friends and I were at the Lake of the Ozarks over Veterans Day weekend, and we chose the Lake House Hotel for our lodging. It was more than slight overchlorination. The Hotel appears to be adding way too many chemicals to the pool in addition to the natural chlorine generated by the saltwater system. Our little one's eyes were red for several days and we had to continue flushing and treating her eyes with drops to clear up what appeared to be a chemical reaction. We literally packed up at 9pm and drove four hours back home. We ended up leaving the next day and did not stay the second night we'd booked. Maybe we should have left then - but we were tired and frustrated and ready to just get the trip over with. ![]() We flushed their eyes many times in a 24-hour period. It basically ruined our night and the next day as it took hours for their eyes to stop hurting and the redness to go away. She and her dad both had terrible reactions to the chemicals and we all had to get out of the pool. The biggest issue was the pool, which was so chemically overtreated, my little one had a severe reaction to the water and cried for hours with her eyes hurting her. She actually rolled her eyes as she slo-w-ly processed our information. We remarked that we'd stayed here before and really enjoyed the stay, and she looked at us with a blank look and didn't respond in any way. The only conversation we had with her was when she presented us with a list of rules to follow. She wasn't pleasant, welcoming, friendly at all. When we checked in the front desk clerk was so rude we felt that set the tone. Stayed here several times before and enjoyed it. ![]() Hilton Grand Vacations Club on the Las Vegas Strip.Springfield-Branson Regional Airport Hotels.Hotels near The Getaway Watercraft Rentals.Hotels near Bear Creek Valley Golf Club.
